Happy Holidays & Gift Giving

It's another year of the pandemic and the holidays seem to be cancelled yet again with the rise of the cases in the new COVID variant, Omicron. We're still staying socially distanced and we're hoping to brighten up our solo-holidays with giving each other some useful gifts. The pandemic has taught us that we don't need a lot and we've definitely reduced our unnecessary expenditures in the past almost 2 years.

Here's some of the items that we're getting because they're useful and we can't even be bothered with doing a wish list for this year.

Infrared Benefits

We got our sauna set up in the Fall of 2020 but finally got some good use of it when Autumn started to roll around back in September. We've used it a few times and I love the experience of being in a full bodied sweat but sometimes there is a convenience factor with something wrapped up in a smaller and more portable package.

Before we got our sauna, I had been looking at recovery tools such as infrared heat and how that helps with healing and came across this infrared pad a few years ago and at the time didn't invest in one because of the price at the time. Honestly, I must have been looking to get the priciest of infrared pads because the one that I've found this year, is really affordable. As soon as I'm done writing this, this thing's going into my Amazon cart.

Apple Air Tags

We've been looking at getting a tracker for some of our gear and this has been on the list of things to look at now that we've got several kits of equipment that we'd like to keep tabs on. After doing a bit of research, the Apple Air Tags seemed like the best route as we're both iPhone users. Now, I got the skinny from a friend who uses their Air Tag to keep tabs on their dog and these tags are waterproof, battery lasts a long time and they haven't had to change it, and it just works. I've seen reviews for other brands and they sounded great at first but weren't too promising, so going the recommended route. Another item for the Amazon cart.

Those Apple AirTags only come with the tags themselves, so if you're looking to put them to use, you'll need to fit them inside a tag holder. I'm going to opt for a set that looks good, preferably leather and I don't mind the keychain ones which gives me options on how to affix them to our gear.

That's pretty much everything I've put on the gift TO GET list. We'll see how the hubby fares!

Thanks and have a great holiday! See you in 2022!
